The interior dome of the Texas State Capitol building in downtown Austin. The dome makes the Texas State Capitol building the tallest of the state capitols and the only legislative building taller in the country is the U.S. Capitol in Washington DC.

The inside center of the dome has a Texas star with the letters 'T', 'E', 'X', 'A' and 'S' between each of the 5 points of the star.
